This ceremonial Tepi is a handcrafted altar piece used for the application of Hapéh to another person.
It is made with natural materials including bone, wood, beads, and crystals, each carrying the sacred energies of nature into the piece.
Please note: offering Hapéh to others is a deep energetic transmission. Traditionally, this practice requires initiation and proper guidance. It is important to approach this tool with respect, responsibility, and awareness of its ceremonial nature.
The Tepi may be used with a partner or someone with whom there is deep trust, mutual consent, and an established intimate relationship. Please do not offer Hapéh to others without appropriate training or understanding of the practice.
About Hapéh
Hapéh (pronounced "ha-PAY") is a finely ground ceremonial snuff used by Indigenous Amazonian peoples for centuries. It is traditionally received as a tool for grounding, mental clearing, and spiritual alignment.

Kamarampi (Ayahuasca) is a sacred medicine for the Ashaninka, traditionally consumed only in association with diets or atonement to attain conscience. More than just a sacred ritual, the ayahuasca ceremony is a path toward spirituality. It acts through the divestiture of the self, whose breakdown reveals to us the reality of our deep connections with our environment, natural and social, and with the cosmos.
Benki Piyãko is an Ashaninka shaman and spiritual leader initiated to one of the ancient shamanic traditions of the Amazon. In this talk, he will share with us the teachings which led him to this sacred path. Ayahuasca is being used in the US and all over the world, as an effective treatment for many illnesses, and is becoming more and more a part of an alternative culture heading towards a future rooted in ancient wisdom. It is important to listen to the experience and guidance of the great indigenous masters that have been working with this sacred teacher plant for time immemorial.
Benki lives in one of the most preserved parts of the forest; preserved, largely thanks to his people’s activism. Through the Yorenka Ãtame project (the Wisdom of the Forest), the Ashaninka have replanted over 2.3 million trees in the last 30 years in invaded, degraded areas in the Upper Juruá Valley, a region that holds some of the yet untouched watersheds of the Amazon basin. More recently, Benki has created Yorenka Tasorentsi (the Wisdom of the Great Spirit), a healing center, reforestation institute, and educational space to teach humanity about the science of nature, how to live in harmony with ourselves and our surroundings, how to take care of the forest, and all its inhabitants, so that we can leave a more beautiful world for generations to come.

Ninawa Pai da Mata, chief of Novo Futuro village deep in the Brazilian Amazon, located five days by boat from Tarauacá in Acre, is widely respected as one of the region’s most charismatic and influential Indigenous leaders.
In this course, Ninawa shares profound wisdom about the sacred medicine Hapéh, a traditional blend of tobacco and tree ashes used by Amazonian peoples. As this medicine has grown in global popularity, it is increasingly being used outside its cultural context, sometimes without proper understanding or respect. Ninawa offers guidance on the correct protocols for working with this medicine, emphasizing respect, intention, and connection with its spiritual essence.
He also shares the sacred origin story of Hapéh within the Huni Kuin tradition, providing deeper cultural and spiritual context. Additionally, the course includes teachings of a sacred song used to invoke the spirit of the medicine and offer healing and protection, helping participants establish a grounded and respectful connection when engaging with this sacrament.
