ABOUT

Learn to harness the powerful energy of winter solstice to set the tone for the next year

In this course, we will learn and discuss:

  • What the energetics of Winter Solstice are. This will include conversations about the energetics of the Equinoxes and Summer Solstice as they are deeply interconnected
  • The essentials of creating an altar for Winter Solstice, and also how to adapt it to Summer Solstice
  • Meditation to go deep into the darkness of the inner realm and shadow work and returning back into the light
  • Work on why we are on this planet as individuals and what are our priorities, what we are trying to achieve, and set an intention for the up and coming year until the next winter solstice.

This is what the winter solstice really is about.

It is the place where we do our inner spiritual work with our deep innermost relationship with our eternal soul, our essence, our spirit guides, guardians, and allies. It sets the tone for the entire year.

It’s oftentimes a time of storytelling and creative endeavors.

Summer Solstice is more about the physical realm and work Winter Solstice is more about the spiritual realm and work.

If we are North of the Equador, December brings the Winter Solstice, for the ones South of the Equador it is Summer Solstice.

Everyone is asked to have an altar set up with at least a candle lit, a dish with natural water (lake, pond, creek, river, rain, ocean or seawater, snowmelt or well water could also work, NO tap water)

Participants are also encouraged to make a sacred prayer stick or have a tool they can hold during the workshop which will help them throughout the year. If you're interested in learning how to make a prayer stick, please register and watch Ms. LánéSaán's course on Peaceful Coexistence.

Grandmother LánéSaán Moonwalker has been an oracle, healer, spiritual teacher, and environmental guardian for more than 45 years.

Grandmother LánéSaán began her training in the healing arts at the age of 12 from members of her family who were highly skilled curanderas (traditional healers who combine Native and Catholic spiritual beliefs and practices). From her mother, she learned to work with creative expression as a doorway to spirit.

Grandmother LánéSaán is an accomplished artist, a weaver and painter, as well as a dancer and singer, and holds a degree in humanities and the visual arts from the University of Colorado. She has been a licensed minister for more than 32 years, and is a Canon in the Brigade of Light.

Grandmother LánéSaán has studied with many spiritual teachers, including artist, writer, and visionary Joseph Rael (Beautiful Painted Arrow), Eric Tao and Marian Starnes.

In 1987, she met her main teacher Tu Moonwalker, an Apache, the great great granddaughter of Cochise. Tu was the holder of this unbroken Moonwalker lineage and Láné is an acknowledged part of that it, in addition to being from an unbroken lineage herself through her Yaqui grandmother. Together Tu and Grandmother LánéSaán founded the Philosophy of Universal Beingness within the Whole. The foundation of this system is about working with nature in a sacred way.
